Discovering New York City – Part Three

The final part of Discovering New York!

We actually stayed in Brooklyn during our stay, in an area called Greenpoint. A great local area and I would definitely recommend it! We explored nearby Williamsburg, which was amazing for the variety of independent retailers. My ultimate favourite was Verameat! I loved the visual merchandising and the collection of props used to showcase the product in a really interesting way.

Another area of interest in Williamsburg was the varied style of shop fronts along the high street. Very simple but unique is design. Not overly modern but not heavily traditional either, just a really nice eclectic mix that worked to create a high street scene full of character and personality.
